In this episode, we are joined by Shanna Pearson, a leading ADHD coach and author of the upcoming book Invisible ADHD (release date 9/9/25). Together we explore the often-missed signs of ADHD in girls and women. We unpack why ADHD often looks different in women, how traits like selective mutism, emotional sensitivity, and people-pleasing can delay diagnosis, and what happens when those internalized patterns carry into adulthood. Shanna brings a powerful mix of personal vulnerability and expertise to this important conversation. Whether you're exploring your own neurodivergence or supporting someone who is, this episode challenges assumptions and offers practical hope. I am on page 97 of Shanna’s book and I am allready understanding more about myself at 60 than I may have ever. I am excited to read about and use some the techniques and tools that can help me go forward more effectively in life. I am grateful that I picked this book up and even more grateful that Shanna wrote this book.
